On 19 February 2025, the School of Technology at Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) formalized a strategic partnership with Aabeli Empowering Mind, Rani, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing ceremony, held on the ADBU Azara campus, was witnessed by Prof. Manoranjan Kalita, Director of the School of Technology, and Dr. Pushpanjalee Konwar, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, along with faculty and staff from both institutions.
Fr. Joseph Nellanatt (Pro VC, ADBU) signed on behalf of ADBU, while Mrs. Lipika Gogoi represented Aabeli Empowering Mind. This collaboration is designed to deliver a range of jointly organized activities like skill-development trainings, industry-focused workshops, expert-led conferences, and thematic symposia aimed at bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.
Key focus areas include hands-on modules in emerging technologies, leadership and communication skill enhancement, and sessions on social entrepreneurship. Aabeli’s grassroots outreach expertise will complement ADBU’s academic rigor, ensuring participants gain both technical proficiency and community-oriented perspectives.
Through this partnership, students and early-career professionals will access mentorship opportunities, live project briefs, and networking events with industry practitioners. Both partners concluded the ceremony with commitments to launch the first series of programs in the coming quarter, reinforcing their shared vision of empowering the next generation of engineers and changemakers.
