Warm greetings from Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Technology, Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati, Assam!
It is our immense pleasure to inform you that the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with Assam Energy Development Agency (A State Nodal Agency for Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India) is going to organize a National Exhibition & Conference on New and Renewable Energy (NECONRE-2017) on 6th - 7th October, 2017.
The overall objectives of the programme are to glance into and discuss the prospect of sustainable energy for India's rural development, achieve more efficient, coherent and coordinated actions towards increasing renewable energy access and expose the new generation of the country towards the development in the field of renewable energy resources.
The main theme of NECONRE-2017 is "Renewable Energy for rural India: the present and the future".
Sub-Themes:
- Renewable energy for rural India
- Mini and micro hydro power plants
- Solar energy viability in India
- Harnessing wind and geothermal potentials
- Grid connection, tariff and financial issues, regulations and policies in new and renewable energy sector
- Bio-energy

- Social and environmental impacts of renewable energy developments
Call for Paper: Publish your research in UGC approved & Google Scholar Indexed International Journal
The organizers cordially invite research papers from all over the country, on the themes of NECONRE-2017, for oral/poster presentation. All the selected papers from the oral/poster presentation sessions will be published in UGC approved & Google Scholar Indexed International Journal- "ADBU Journal of Engineering and Technology (AJET)" – ISSN: 2348-7305, after peer review.

You are requested to submit scholarly full length research paper, based on original and unpublished work, in MS-Word (in ADBU Journal-AJET format) as attachment through email to: neconre@dbuniversity.ac.in . Acceptance notification will be sent through email.

** Video conferencing for Presenters outside Assam **
Authors from other states in India with accepted papers may optionally present their papers via video conferencing.
- Authors must have access to high speed uninterrupted data connectivity.
- The presentation should be in English only.
- The presentation slides must to be sent to neconre@dbuniversity.ac.in latest by 20 September 2017.
Those who would like to make their presentations online will also be awarded with a certificate similar to that of a regular presenter and also, their papers will be considered for publications similar to other participants as if they were present physically.
