EEE organizes WAR-2018: Workshop on Arduino and Raspberry pi

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Technology, Assam Don Bosco University successfully organized WAR-2018, the 3rd edition of the Workshop on Arduino & Raspberry pi on 10-11 Feb 2018. Fifteen participants were certified in the workshop in which topics from basic theory to practical hands-on training were covered.

The main objective of the workshop was to give the participants an insight of various applications of ARDUINO and RASPBERRY PI. The workshop started with inauguration of the event by the Chief Guest- Prof. Durlav Hazarika of Electrical Engineering Department, Assam Engineering College, and other dignitaries form ADBU- Fr. Joseph Nellanatt, Pro Vice Chancellor, ADBU, Prof. Manoranjan Kalita, Director of SoT, ADBU along with Prof. Shakuntala Laskar, HOD- EEE Department, SoT, ADBU and faculty & staff members of EEE department.

Prof. Shakuntala addressed the gathering with inspirational words and highlighted the objectives of the workshop for creating an environment to explore beyond the academic syllabus with the use of Arduino and Raspberry Pi, which would help the students to try different types of engineering projects. 

The resource persons of the Workshop were Assistant Professors of the department- Mr. Gitu Das, Mr. Jyoti Kumar Barman, Mr. Bikramjit Goswami and Ms. Pushpanjalee Konwar. The workshop ended with a formal valedictory session on 11th Feb 2018.

AADHANTARIT -Departmental Wall Magazine inaugurated for EEE

On 15th Feb 2018, Pro VC of Assam Don Bosco University- Fr. Joseph Nellanatt and Head of EEE department-Prof. Shakuntala Laskar inaugurated the 2018 edition of the Wall Magazine of EEE department- AADHANTARIT.
The Wall Magazine was created by the 4th and 6th semester students of the department. Assistant Professors Mr. Biswajit Sengupta, Ms. Sarbani Das and Mr. Papul Changmai guided the students in creating the beautiful wall magazine.
