EEE organizes special talk by Industry Expert on Smart Grid
Electrical and Electronics Engineering department of School of Technology, Assam Don Bosco University has recently organized a special industry talk on "Smart Grid in Assam" on 1st April 2017. Mr. Anuj Goswami, Assistant General Manager, APDCL was the resource person of the symposium where he talked on "Smart Grid Pilot Project by APDCL".
Sharing his wide experience of working very closely with planning and commissioning of Smart Grid project in Assam, he further encouraged the participants to get involved and contribute ideas in tackling the constraints of implementation at different levels. In the brainstorming session, the resource person interacted with the participants on various electricity related issues in the north-eastern region.
Students from B.Tech. 6th semester, 8th semester and M.Tech., along with faculty and staff members of the department participated in the program.
